Science Camp 2016
Volunteer Youth Corps recently celebrated our third annual Science Camp, bringing together students from the Interactive After-School Math and Science Program and the National Career Guidance Program for three days of learning and fun at Splashmin's Eco Adventure Park! Students were treated to a visit to Yarrowkabra, a presentation from the University of Guyana Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, and an art session facilitated by Tracy Greene Douglas of Pandama Retreat. These activities allowed students from 12 schools to build friendships and interactively explore themes of science, careers, and personal growth. Thank you to ExxonMobil for their continued support of the 2016 Science Camp!
